The SPME School has been designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of SPME technology by combining classroom sessions, practical laboratory exercises, and technical discussions focused on real-world analytical applications.
Throughout the course, participants will explore the fundamentals of Solid Phase Microextraction, sampling strategies, analytical method development, and the implementation of SPME technology in both manual and automated workflows.
The first day focuses on the theoretical principles of SPME technology and the different extraction techniques. Participants will explore sampling strategies, analytical method development, and chemometric principles applied to SPME.
Particular attention is given to the transition from conventional analytical techniques to Solid Phase Microextraction, including SPME fiber selection, matrix recovery evaluation, and internal standard selection.

The second day takes place in the laboratory and focuses on the practical application of SPME technology using both online and offline techniques.
Participants will observe and operate automated systems while performing both manual and automated laboratory exercises. The day also provides an opportunity for direct technical discussion with the instructors to address analytical challenges, application-specific issues, and practical solutions.
The course is intended for professionals wishing to deepen their knowledge of SPME technology, optimize analytical workflows, and develop practical expertise in automated sampling and sample preparation.
